Building Possibility Together

Since our inception, we have had a clear vision: to create a brand that isn’t loved by everyone, but by those who want the truth.

THE STORY BEHIND

CANDY SHOP

Candy Shop was never created just to sell clothes.

I grew up in government housing in the Northern Territory, where I spent around 14 years of my youth being raised by my mum. We didn’t have much, and growing up around hardship, violence and struggle taught me early what it meant to work with whatever you had.

As I got older, I worked hard labour jobs, took every opportunity I could and eventually moved into security while continuing to chase bigger career goals.

I worked hard, gained experience and tried to build a better future for myself, only to have some of those doors closed because of my tattoos.

Instead of letting that rejection define me, I decided to build something of my own.

That became Candy Shop.

Candy Shop is built around being real, raw and uncensored. It represents people who have been judged, overlooked, rejected or told they don’t fit the mould.

But the vision is bigger than clothing.

I want Candy Shop to create opportunities for people who need support, bring people together and give back to the communities and people who helped build it.

That is where Candy Club comes in.

Candy Club is about creating a genuine community around the brand a family of people who supported the journey from the beginning and believe in what Candy Shop represents.

As the brand grows and becomes profitable, I want to give back through opportunities, community support and helping people who might otherwise never get given a chance.

Because I know what it feels like to come from very little.

I know what it feels like to be told no.

Candy Shop was created from rejection, struggle and ambition but the goal is to turn that into opportunity, community and something bigger than myself.

Be real. Be raw. Stay uncensored.

Live Salty. Stay Sweet.
